The Highland Tech Reel comes with either 200 feet (61m) or 400 feet (122m) of #24 international orange nylon 8 strand line. The Line break strength is 200 lbs (91 kg). The Highland Tech Reel handle is made from Anodized aluminum, the frame of black hard anodized 6061 aluminum and the spool is machined Delrin. The Highland Tech Reel has an integrated 4" stainless steel attachment double-ender bolt snap and a thumb wheel spool lock.

Maintain a particular depth when ascent lines are over crowded with divers or when the current is too heavy the Highland Jonline is exactly what you need. Or just for hands free safety stops and deco stops. The 78" (2 m) type IV high strength para-cord line effortlessly clips to most anchor or mooring line. The para-cord is easy to remove in case you need to replace it or cut it due to tangle. The Highland Jonline has a durable 1680 denier ballistic nylon pouch with drain grommets in the bottom and has a modified closure flap that allows the line to be stored inside along with the Garvin hook. The Highland Jonline provides hands free safety and decompression stops. The pouch closure flap is equipped with a 316 stainless steel D-rings and the Garvin hook is made from 304 stainless steel. Attachment of the Highland Jon-line pouch to gear is easy with the top D-ring or with the webbing pass-thru on the pouch back.

The Highland Garvin Hook is designed to non permanently attach the diver to another line or strap, such as webbing, tag, mooring, anchor line or vertical ascent line. The Highland Garvin Hook can be used in conjunction with a Jon line or as a Jon Line.

Aluminum spools are strong, yet lightweight. The Highland Aluminum Mini Spool with Dyneema Leader 50 ft (15 m) size is practical for most applications, especially deploying surface markers. A Dyneema leader protects the main line when the line is clipped off near sharp edges. The breaking strength of the Highland Aluminum Mini Spool with Dyneema Leader 50 ft (15 m) is 400 lbs (181 kg) at the Dyneema Leader which is considerably higher that then 132 lbs (60 kg) breaking strength of the main flat braided line. The Highland Aluminum Mini Spool with Dyneema Leader 50 ft (15 m) mounts the leader to a stainless steel swivel to prevent twisting of the main line. The flared edges are easier to grip and helps to keep the fingers free of the way while winding.

The Highland Flared SS Finger Spool is most often used as a gap reel or for short range exploration due to it's size and profile. The Highland Flared SS Finger Spool fits nicely in a pocket or clipped to a d-ring. The holes in the side of the Highland Flared SS Finger Spool allow for clipping a double-ended snap bolt along side of the spool to keep the line tight when being stored.

The Highland Sport Reel is made up with a Stainless Steel frame, molded carry handle and with #24 hi-viz yellow nylon 16 strand line. The Highland Sport Reel includes a 4" Stainless Steel doublender bolt snap with 18-8 SS internal spring and a 2.75 stainless steel bolt snap with 18-8 SS internal spring attached to the end of the line. The Highland Sport Reel has a three position switch with skip/free/stop.
