A fill nipple dust cover is a female end quick disconnect that encloses a male end fill nipple in order to keep dirt and dust out of your nitrogen tank. If you dirty a fill nipple it will begin to leak.

Putting a dust cover on your nitrogen tank will protect from dirt getting forced into your tank during a fill and then being blown into the valve of your gun.
