Just stretch it over your tank and make sure it is in a position that you will be able to reach while diving. Reach back grab the ball, stretch it out a bit and let it go. It will put off sounds like a giant bell. The Tank Banger is made up of durable silicone tubing and a slotted unbreakable plastic ball. This is great for those divers that want a noise maker but want to avoid those rattlers out there that you can't seem to keep quiet. Safer than banging on your tank with your knife.
